Panorama of my Silence-Heart Cafe was founded in 2007 by followers of Sri Chinmoy, a teacher out of the Hindu tradition. Since 1968, the quiet neighborhood of Briarwood, Queens has been the center of the worldwide Chinmoy movement. The guru died in 2007. The restaurant is welcoming to people of all faiths and has hosted meetings of a Christian artist group.

The fresh, well-prepared vegetarian food is prepared under the supervision of a second-generation member of the Chinmoy community, Ketan Goldman. Eat vegetarian 9am – 3pm. 84-73 Parsons Blvd, Briarwood, Queens.

On Sunday from 12N – 3pm, the cafe will serve a special lunch of Yellow Split Pea soup and Mushroom Stroganoff with Tagliatelle Noodles, seven with Salad Greens. All vegetarian.

A great place for Journey to take a break, write articles, and recharge!

Afterward, pick up groceries for dinner down the street at Christ Deli.
