100 Years at The Bowery Mission Chapel

Last, November the Bowery Mission celebrated its 130 Anniversary and the 100th Anniversary of its Chapel. The Lower East Side mission demonstrates that evangelicals have always put compassion and evangelism together.

In our 2007 survey conducted with NYC Leadership Center the number one agenda item for NYC metropolitan area evangelical church and ministry leaders are social concerns. These leaders are most concerned about helping the poor and hurting, reconciling the races and ethnicities and bringing community peace.

In your opinion the most important issues which NYC church/ministry leaders should tackle are:
