Please spread the word about the Crown Heights Farmers Market at Albany and Lefferts Avenues, just a few blocks from you! We would love to partner with you. The farmers market operates every Thursday from noon to 7 pm and accepts EBT/SNAP and more public benefits. Please spread the word among the churches. We have a special event this Thursday, July 12 to promote the market - planting flowers at Albany/Lefferts Park, cooking demos, art, soccer - all to promote affordable fresh food and fitness.
But all must come to the market because we will need to shut it down if folks don't buy. So, please spread the word among all - all churches and places of worship. Please mention in sermons on Sunday. This is so important!
