“And Sign of our Times”

A sign of our times is the millions of people out of work and out of their homes. We remember our hurting fellow New Yorkers with an original illustration from the November 1896 Christian Herald, a publication associated with The Bowery Mission. Some needs haven’t changed. This Thanksgiving is a sober time with much need for prayer and care for the down and out. We can also appreciate even more than usual the love of families, friends and neighbors.
